Answer» I loaded a GHOST program, ran it, it failed and now I am stuck in ms-dos. I have windows XP and am not very comp literate. Any thoughts?cand you reboot into safe MODE I cannot. When I reboot (even using the f8 key) it takes me to a screen that says: PC DOS 7.1 startup menu 1. RUN Noron Ghost 2. Return to windows w/o running norton ghost Enter Choice: I choose 2 and hit enter and get a blinking cursor?You say you ran a ghost program... Where exactly did the ghost program fail? Was it while you were doing a backup or RESTORE?during backup- I am not sure that it ever started b/c I started it and walked away. Hours later it still had the intial hourglass on it and the system was unresponsive. So I rebooted. It comes back to the same MS-Dos screen each TIME I try to reboot.
