I need help trying to insert/ match up my cdrw/dvd burner drive with my dell laptop. I have the drive, I just dont know how to match them up and put them together. My manual doesn't cover it.

-VVanyelle.......Do you already have a cd rom installed on your laptop? Is your laptop designed to take another one internaly or is it setup for an external one ......?
Why dont you contact Dell ........they should be able to tell you all about it .

dl65  yeah, it has one built in, its just the burner that I can't figure out how to put in. We've already tried to get a hold of dell, but they have their little service charge thing, so I THOUGHT Id try to FIND help online before I took it to them.

I am not all that knowgeable when it comes to laptops.
What about your local computer shop.......surely they can give you some assistance.
Perhaps another one of our MEMBERS can shed more light on your situation.
