Answer» Please Help! I lovee takingg pictures, and I have over one hundred pictures on my computer. But it is starting to slow down my computer a lot, and it was already bad to start with. I wanted to burn all my pictures onto a CDR [BLANK cd] so that I could still have the pictures, just not on my computer. If anyone has any idea how to do this, can you please please please write back. You would be the biggest help ever. Thank you soo much & hope to hear from someone soon! <3 --SARAHDo you have CD burner drive? on your pc? its like a CD romBesides having a CD Burner, you will ALSO need burning software. (You can use the standard Windows software if necessary) [glb]Flame[/glb]Yes, I do have a CD burner. What is the best software to use? Thank you again. --SARAHRefer to the PM [glb]Flame[/glb]Sarah: If you have Windows XP, CD burning software is included with the operating system. One question: What digital camera do you have? We have a Kodak and it SAVES copies of EVERY photo (we even have several copies of the same one) every time the camera is plugged in to our PC. These are besides the ones that are saved in the My Documents folder. The location of the folders with these image files is: C:\Documents and Settings\[USER name]\Local Settings\Temp Use Windows Explorer to check this folder when you are moving files from your hard drive, or let us know if you need help searching elsewhere on your computer for ALL of your digital photos. Regards, Doc Do you have CD burner software? If not something like NERO or Easy CD Creator, Roxio or Sonic? If you need a free CD burner then try DeepBurner and if you need a free Sound Recorder and Wave Editor try Audacity.CD burning software is only included with Windows XP so which operating system are you using? |
