Answer» HI everyone i'm quite NEW to computers and need help bad, i need to change my desktop background and i have done this before, but today when i tried to change it my browse option is faded and i can't click on it to choose one of my own pics, what has happened and how do i fix it. thanks all i do appreciate it. Mumbugwhat os?when did this start what protections do you have on this machineTry selecting one of the avalible backgrounds (change it to something else) and then click "Apply" and then see if "Browse" comes up. If it does not: What type of user account are you using? Limited/Guest/ADMINISTRATOR? Is this a networked computer? What sort of network? Workgroup/Domain? Operating System? hey andt hanks but i can't even select one that is already there, alls i can do is change the color. I had the computer cleaned out today but it still won't let me change it. its just my personal comp that i have at home and its my account. TIA again.
