HDD so i insert non-bootable diskette and bootable HDD. but system doesn't drop down to HDD booting someone told me i need a new diskette to make it successful. I try to format diskette under windows, and try format.com under DOS, both method can make my system drop tp HDD booting when there is a non-bootable diskette. anybody here know TOOLS that make diskette reset to new MBR diskette?From my experience, it always tries to boot the floppy, then it yells at you that it isn't bootable and you have to take it out. Yep that's my experience as well. The tool you're looking for does not EXIST only_lonely, because new diskettes are formatted just like they would be if you used the formatting tools in DOS/Windows. Yep that's my experience as well.
The tool you're looking for does not EXIST only_lonely, because new diskettes are formatted just like they would be if you used the formatting tools in DOS/Windows.
