i dont know you but i need help with my hard DRIVE it is a 120 gb hard drive form western digital and i am currently trying to install win xp on it because my old drive got a virus and got messed up but twoards the end of the installation it said the HD got stuck in a loop can you help me?Post the EXACT message you got....I've never heard of "Your Hard Drive Got Stuck In A Loop", but if you hum a few bars........newWDxp.......
You bought a new hard drive because the old one had a virus ...........?  Why didn't you SIMPLY remove the virus ........?  

dl65  Good Idea   because my dad tried deleting evrything on the drive and it got f***ed up so i had to get a new one and the message on the screen was: the device DRIVER got stuck in an infinite loop to stop any damage to your comp. windows will shut down_it was close to that......Tried installing the second time  yes
