Answer» My autoexec.nt is missing. I cannot run 16 bit programs. I believe it was deleted because of a virus. I do not have the XP installation dik. How, (STEP by step) if possible, can I take a copy of the autoexec.nt from the i386 directory and re-install it?? Thanks in advance.......http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;324767I've tried that sight already but, I DO NOT have the installation disk so I'm not able to complete the re-install. I was told elsewhere that I could use a copy from the i386 directory but I have NO CLUE how to retrieve a copy from there MUCH less install it!!
