Same here. thank you again for your help , harryDefraggler

iObit is good if you want an auto-defrag but I can't see adding a process (which uses resources) in order to gain performance. Seems like one would cancel out the other.Quote from: evilfantasy on May 06, 2009, 03:43:58 PM

that can be disabled.I have it running all the time, and according to Task Manager, it uses 0% of CPU, and not even 5MB of RAM:

Interesting. I still can't get my head around it though

I do like it and trust it, I INSTALL iObit on my relatives computers who don't know or care about maintenance. Keeps me from having to make a trip over for slow surfing issues...Believe me, I'm always concern about not necessary things running on my computer, but in this case, I'll trade 5MB of RAM for a headache of remembering about defragging.
BRONI you will see there is a big difference between your settings along the bottom and mine , the 3rd from bottom is very high i have seen it as far as 98% and i do not have a clue what it is , harry

How much of the CPU, dear Broni, gets used when you actually turn on the computer? Harry
