Solve : Have to double click everything!? |

Answer» Hi i have a problem my computer makes me double or triple click everything or it wont open. Even links and this text box i had to click 2 or more times for it to work. My computer never used to do this and i have no IDEA how to get it back to normal i've restarted it many times. My old mouse started double clicking when I only single clicked. got a new mouse and everything was fine. (well, first I tried cleaning inside the old mouse, but when I found that even clicking on the button inside the mouse caused a erroneous double click, I just replaced it.There is a mechanical phenomenon called "contact bounce": essentially a bit of SPRINGY metal has loses its tension or got cracked. However, if the OP's problem is with a laptop mousepad, well, an external mouse may be an interim option pending repair. Sorry i forgot to mention its a laptop. I dont think its a mouse problem because some things are always still ONE click like the minimize or EXIT button but now all of the SUDDEN things that were only one click take several to work.
