Solve : Hard drive making rattling sound? |

Answer» I suspect it's time to to replace this noisy hard DRIVE. When I got my first computer, WIN 98 a guy that got it for me made a clone of the hard drive for another computer (now I believe that was illegal). Today, I have a noisy HDD that I believe will no out at any moment. Can someone help me with such a cloning process? can a bootable copy be made? so that not only the OS remains, but, also software and FILES, I have Win XP Pro installed.You can use any disk imaging / cloning software. Macrium REFLECT is a free option. |
