I know this is off-topic from COMPUTERS, but I have to rant.

You know it's going to be a bad day when you go out to start the car at 7:30 AM and the TEMPERATURE is about 60°F. Later on in the day, the temperature in the school rose as high as 93°F by 7th Period. Thankfully, we have AIR Conditioning. But I need to be careful about heat-giving items -- such as computers. But right now it's a cool 70° in my room, so I'm online. Sounds like over here on a summer day... Where are you anyway? Arizona?

FlameOregon, actually. It's not so MUCH the heat as much as the fact that it came so suddenly and so early.

Yesterday... Temperature was 50° and rose to a typical 74°. Comfortable, I daresay. At 10:00 PM last night GMT-8, the temperature was about 60°. For some reason, it didn't cool off. Then, it got hot -- fast.Typical Western temperature

FlameThat's exactly what happened here. 80 DEGREES F.

(whats the key combination for the degree sigh?)Don't know. I just used Character Map.Hold down ALT, then press 0176 on the numerical pad: °Quote
