Solve : Google Pack blocks Firefox? |

Answer» I installed the 'google pack' and now i can't get Firefox to launch. I'm using Windows XP on an emachines with 80GB and 52MB space. I get an error that says External Protocol Request "An external APPLICATION must be launched to handle http: links, then it lists whatever link I might try from firefox, then it lists the application: Firefox It gives me the choice to launch or cancel, if I choose launch I get the same thing again, If I choose cancel, I get an 'Untitled' screen. I'd like to use my firefox when I want use a book mark because I have a hundred or so BOOKMARKS from years of use. Is there a fix? If not how do I get rid of the google pack and get back to Firefox?What happens when you uninstall Google Pack?Google add-ons are known for making trouble.I reinstalleld Firefox and now it works. 'm using Windows XP on an emachines with 80GB and 52MB space. If these #'s are ACCURATE that machine is going to struggle to run properly... Windows especially XP needs APPROX. 15% Free DRIVE space to run efficiently.I hope, it was typo....maybe 52GB free?? |
