Full Story
I'm going to get the free software offered instead.I'm sure I've got a Seagate hard drive that would qualify for this. But not worth it to open each computer in hunt for one of the drives.
I agree though I'd definitely go for the software over the $1.72.
I had 3 drives that QUALIFIED...my manic documentation thru the years PROBABLY got me a lousy piece of software.... The Seagate drives must have been purchased in the U.S. from an authorized Seagate retailer or distributor, separately as a Seagate product that was not preinstalled into and bundled with a PC or any other TYPE of electronic device.
I SEE another lawsuit on the horizon,For the company/computer manufacturer that sold with a Seagate making the same claim.
