Quote I have a 3.0GHz Intel (P4?) , 512 MB of RAM, a 60 GB hard drive, with a 9700ATI 128 MB card.
The problem is that when playing a game, no matter what specification, one minute later the screen scrambles and makes a continuous bip noise.
The windows are not frozen, it still runs normally. This happens 1 in 5 times.
I think that if I install the latest VGA drivers it will fix it.
Any ideas?
Good idea! And re-seat the video card and fit another 512 MB of RAM too.
You could run all of the DxDiag TESTS and use Everest to see if it can find any problem.
