Answer» I got this error just yesterday after I accidentally DROPPED my laptop Your PC needs to be repaired A required device isn't connected or can't be accessed Error code 0xc0000185 You'll need to USE the recovery tools on your installation media..... What causes this and how can it been fixed I would try the following: Remove the battery... Remove and re-seat the HDD... Do the same for the RAM. Then with battery out hold in power button for 30 seconds...replace battery and give it a full charge overnite... Best of Luck...let US KNOW.
