Answer» I have a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo pro V1000 with a broken screen and am told there are various other makes and models from other makes of computers that will FIT. Why not get a new screen for that specific laptop? This is a V1000 model and is not worth a new screen That is why I am asking so I can hopefully find alternatives as cheap as possible Thanks AnywayWait, so are you looking for a new laptop or a new screen?I am looking for a 15" USED screen that will fit my laptop I was told that the Toshiba A60 will fit. I know there is a compatible list but I do not know where I can find it.Hmmm...I'm not SURE. If you have the SPARE monitor, I guess you could try it. No promises though. By 'broken screen', is there anything you can tell us about it that?It is a Laptop with a cracked LCD screen, it is not a separate monitor although I can use it on a free standing monitor ,but not very helpful when traveling. I sure I don't no what else I can tell you its all been said. If you have a CHUNGHWA CLAA150XH01 LCD screen in your home for about £30 then you can help if you haven't I don't think you can. Cheers and thanks for your input. All right. Just to LET you know, not all monitors can work with all laptops. Some monitors are specifically designed for ONE specific laptop.Yes I know that. This is why I asked the question regarding compatibility. I am a computer engineer and will normally fit new screens in clients machines as they are normally from insurance claims. |
