Solve : fresh boot?

I INSTALLED a new harddrive in my laptop and formatted and all that good stuff but,  how do i use my original recovery cd to get my os back on and all my drivers wit it?

It's a presario 1200xl310

Any advice would be most welcome.

GregDid you already try BOOTING through the CD-rom with the bootup disk installed?
Did you change the BOOT sequence to make sure it reads Cd-Rom before the Hard Drive?
Might NEED the correct OEM(Retail) CD of the OS and use the recovery to install the drivers.Ok I'll give that a try and see what happens.
