Solve : Folders showing as shortcuts?

1.	Solve : Folders showing as shortcuts?
Answer» Hello everybody, As I am connecting my external harddisk or pendrive to the laptop, all the folders are showing as shortcuts. But if i see the property of the harddisk the size of the file is there. I am in TROUBLE, as i am unable to OPEN my VALUABLE data's. Please HELP me.
