Solve : Flash Download Problems, FireFox? |
|
Answer» Adobe Flash is a Nag. But the new version of FireFox has a new issue. Apparently. This is from the Adobe Forum. Flash Download ProblemsAdobe said: Quote We're working to IMPROVE the workflow, especially during error scenarios, but the download helper is our preferred method of installation.http://forums.adobe.com/message/3947097?tstart=0 Firefox 6.0.2 is not a "new" version. Seems to me you're delving into something that's history now. Also, the link you posted is a discussion where the original post referred to the SeaMonkey browser. That whole discussion is just irrelevant to most users. He does this...from time to time... FireFox BTW is up to ver. 8...Please bear with me. I have been using FireFox 6 and I get a pop up just before my AV starts. And I also have used Sea Monkey. But the npop-up comes up before the any browser even starts. I thought this might be some issue with Adobe. Later, I found this: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html ...which tells you which flash you ALREADY have. I am already up to date with my current browser. You should check to see if you have the LATEST version of Flash as that's where the issue probably lies... Open every browser you have and go to http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ and see whether they are all up-to-date. |
