Answer» Hi
Wonder if you can help me with some-thing, i have been running fire fox for about 3 months, i have been told conflicting advice.
In firefox when you click on EDIT at the top in the drop down box i do not have preferences, BTW running windows 98se
I can perform all i need to do by Tools>OPTIONS but i have been told that i should have preferences in the drop down Box, i have the latest version of firefox and i uninstalled 1.0 before i installed version 1.1.
When i WENT to FAQ in firefox help i found below that seems correct for me
Displays the Preferences window, where you can change many preferences in Firefox. This menu item is not visible in Windows because Tools > Options... is used instead.
I have all the other options under Edit, but as said above a few people on another forum have told me i should have this option preferences under Edit, can any firefox USERS help me out Thanks
