Answer» Funny thing HAPPEND to my USB drive. All the files on it dissapeared. When I do an analyze in defrag or a backup, a folder named found.000 is found with a bunch of chk files in it. I have tried various ways but cannot see this folder anywhere else using DOS or Explore. The drive propoerties show that 60% of the drive is used. How do I access this folder and TRY to restore the files?Did you perform scandisk on your EXTERNAL HDD?Yup, I think there is some sort of virus in it.My theory is that Scandisk has reported your files as damaged, REPAIRED them and then created a file where it stores the damaged data. Not quite certain how you would undo this PROCESS. If possible at all.
