Solve : File copied images into JPG files? |
|
Answer» I have Windows Vista and I would like to copy an old photo from my wife's myspace to post in a profile . i Photobucket says " a valid extension is jif , jpg , jpeg , png , bmp " ( I'm lost ) I tried " rich text file off of word pad . I can copy the photo on to word pad and view , but all the file choices are fore text only . Photo bucket won't recognise the files .Well, that should TELL you something. Don't use WordPad. You have Paint; it's on all Windows systems. Also, several good freeware photo editing programs are available, if needed. So, there's no need to use any word processor when working with PHOTOS. Have you tried viewing jpg files with Paint? No , I didn't know where to find it . I'll let you know how it works .You don't know where to find Paint? Go to your Programs menu and then select the Accessories sub-menu; that's where you'll find Paint.I knew where paint was , I just didn't know I can get to JPG files in paint . It worked , Thanks Now I have to figure out how to edit and post from photobucket . I went to photobucket because a friend suggested it . I'll have to get back in touch . Once again , Thank You .I, and other members, are familiar with photobucket. Let us know if you have trouble figuring it out. I've had a photobucket account for several years and have often used it to post images in a forum. They made several major changes to their site during the time I've used it. I'm not SURE I like the most recent change but I STILL think it's a great site to use for sharing photos. |
