Solve : FastStone Capture scrolling?

I am having difficulty with scrolling using FastStone Capture in Windows 10.

Scrolling stops prematurely and automatically after only two or three pages have been scrolled.  Why?

How to SOLVE this annoying problem? Having been trying really hard to try and figure out a solution on my own, but to no avail.

Grateful if you could help me, please.

Does it work well on Windows 8.1 but not on Windows 10?

I have the latest version of FastStone Capture which I downloaded against payment a few days ago.

I have been using it on Windows 10, never used it on Windows 8.

It has always scrolled perfectly and efficiently.  However, over the last two days the scrolling stops abruptly after scrolling only the first two pages. I hear a click on the laptop and scrolling ceases immediately. This has never HAPPENED to me before.
