Solve : Extract/List data recorded on DOS log file? |

Answer» Hi, we are running a program(MHDD) on DOS and it is supposed to have record hard disk volume headers and other program run details in a log file. I am trying to search for a utility program that can either extract and reformat the data from the log file WHEREUPON I can use Query to print OR a utility program that can just print out the data from the log file. It would be nice to have a utility that list out the fields from the log such that it makes sense and not just hex representation. Does such a utiliity program exists? So why is this bang WIZ app writing unusable log files ? ? Not sure i understand because if it was doing it's job the logs should not have to be DECIPHERED by another app... Or am i MISSING something ? ? |
