Solve : explorer.exe laggy error? |

Answer» hi, just a few days ago, i've discovered that my computer runned slow whenever I CLICK on a folder or my computer icon. i think that maybe my explorer.exe file is corrupted although i'm not so sure about it. again, whenever I click on a folder or an application that require the explorer.exe file, (for example: internet explorer, my document, my computer), it takes a very long time for the window to pop up. what really confuses me though was that even though it was laggy when i click on (the examples above), the computer didn't freeze, other programs like microsoft word, netscape, WINAMP, etc work fine. any HELP would be highly appreciated.Just a thought.....have you tried a thorough scandisk (scan disk surface as well) and defrag? |
