Answer» Running XP sp2, on booting I receive the subject message over and over for half a dozen times or more before booting finishes. MICROSOFT error message lists a long string of dlls in its technical report on this problem, starting with advapi32.dll and about ten more. It does not prevent WINDOWS from booting and operating, but it is an annoyance to have to cancel it over and over. Any suggestions on what the problem is and how I can RESOLVE it?
