Answer» I received an excel pricelist (very long). I WOULD like to make several other columns with different multipliers eg. taking entire column E ( E1 ..... 1627) and making new columns F, G, H multiplying each row entry in E by a number( eg. .4275 to get a discounted price for each additional column. Well , if I were doing that ,the first thing I would do is to copy the pricesheet you have now into a new blank excel workbook.........( SAVE it as a differant name to your original doc........) Now simply insert the new formula into the new CELLS in the new columns and your done ..... You do have a working understanding of how to create and insert formulas in excel don't you ....?
