Solve : Error message when using Pixela IMxBrowser?

Hi: I just got a Canon camera and had to install software with it. The Software is called ImageMixer™ 3 SE Ver.6 Transfer UTILITY [Ver.6.0.1] &
ImageMixer™ 3 SE Ver.6 Video Tools [Ver.6.0.1]

At first I just had version 6.0. I went to the pixela site and found this download which it says: Fixed the problem that Windows® Explorer does not recognize a CD written by Windows® Explorer or "ZoomBrowser EX" using a computer in which "ImageMixer™ 3 SE Ver.6" is installed.

But actually, nothing is fixed. I can open most of the programs on those DISKS. But ONE of them, the one I really need to use, called disk editing, doesn't open. When I click on it, the entire application CLOSES and then I get one of those error messages that says: IMx Browser has encountered a a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. That's in one of those blue Microsoft boxes. And then inside the box is Please tell Microsoft about this problem and you can choose to send or not send the error report.

I want to know what I can do to make this work. I've installed the program on two different computers, both of which use XP Service Pack 3. And I've installed the latest download for the Pixella software.
Can anyone tell me what I can do to make this work? I have to film something important tomorrow and I can't seem to get this thing going.
