Do you have enough free space, 20-30GB, in the partition where you are going to install Windows 10?
Is your hard drive partitioned into different drive letters? If so in file explorer you need to right click on C: and click on properties. This will show how large the C: drive is and how much free space is left.

Before you try anything else, you should make sure that your PC is connected to the Internet. You can try using the Internet Connections troubleshooter that will automatically fix some common problems with going online.
Open the Network troubleshooter by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping Search (or if you're using a mouse, pointing to the upper-right corner of the screen, MOVING the mouse pointer down, and then clicking Search), entering Identify and repair in the search box, and then tapping or clicking Identify and repair network problems
