Answer» I don't have an Alt GR - my right Alt KEY does the same as the left. Is there a way to simulate an Alt Gr without having to memorize codes like Alt-275 or something like that? That's REALLY strange. How come you have no Alt Gr key? I know you can CHANGE keys by messing with the registry but I'm not sure exactly how, I'll look into it for you. Might be better to buy a new keyboard though.I've never owned a keyboard with an Alt Gr key. Also, I've never seen one that does in stores.I'm under the impression many newer keyboards do not have that. Mine does not. I have a Logitech Cordless Desktop LX 500.Fair enough, I've just never seen one without an Alt-Gr key.I guess it's an England thing, as I too have never seen one without Alt-Gr
What IS the POINT of the button anyway? What's gr stand for? I've never needed to use this key for anything, other than an old dos game.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AltGr_key
Now I know.I only use it for the Euro sign - € - Alt Gr and $. Other than that, it's not really useful to me.
