Solve : Emailing jpgs?

Answer»

hello all,

i have to send some pix via email.
the receiver states that the incoming email can hold nothing larger than 600k.

most of the jpgs i have to send are 189mb.
i was sending four of them w/ each email and the "mail daemon" reported
that none of them went through.

will someone please explain how i am to send these jpgs ?

thank you.   Are you saying you have single jpg files that are 183MB?  How in the WORLD can that be?  With digital cameras being MARKETED with ever-increasing megapixel capacity, photo files also naturally follow the same pattern and become larger.  But, I can't imagine any digital camera that takes single photos that consume 183MB, or even anywhere near that size.

So, please explain how you have acquired jpg files of such a huge size.  Have you tried resizing any of your jpg images to get them down to 600KB?  What photo editing software do you have?i WOULD get "mail daemon" the very odd time because , either the persons mail box is full or i put the wrong address down , i would PHONE and tell them to delete a lot and then it works.

i use yahoo
