Solve : Email forwarding to Gmail has stopped.? |

Answer» I am an authorised REPRESENTATIVE for an ELDERLY gentleman whose Gmail has stopped receiving emails forwarded from Telstra. [The forwarding was set up because Google spam/trash filters are so much better than Telstra's]. Gmail account HISTORY shows five 'alerts' saying "AUTHENTICATION error. Server returned error 'invalid user name or PASSWORD.'" The elderly gentleman is NOT involved in this error, because forwarding is automatic. I have checked and seen that his Telstra account is still receiving emails, so it's the forwarding that is at fault. Could I please have detailed steps to rectify this ? It turns out that in the Telstra webmail, the option to forward the mail to Gmail had somehow become unticked. |
