Answer» I have a DVD WRITER (ATA) - MOSER BAER DH-20A1P ATA Device Now, it has stopped RECOGNIZING any Re-Writable discs. When i insert any Re-Writable DISC and double click on the dvd drive, then the disc gets ejected out. This problem is with Re-Writable discs only and not with any writable discs. Please help me out....Sounds like a bad laser...replace the drive.When you SAY re-writable discs do you mean they're blank or full of data? If first is the case you should try re-writable discs from another brand. Maybe you currently have a bad batch that isn't recognized by your drive. Also, try right mouse click on the icon and then "OPEN" instead of double clicking. Or try to go into the disc via explorer.
