Answer» Hi,all this is along shot, but if you dont ask If your DVD drive has stopped working, then you can just buy a new one. Really? Is that allowed? Was that what was being asked? HERE is one guide to read. It is not the best as far as pictures, and I apologize. I will try to find a better example. I've seen other posters show better pictures. HERE is another article, which has a picture. There are still better examples, and I'm trying to find them. Each hard drive brand is a little different.Thank you all for you replies.. Aegis thank for your time on this one i now have something to start me off. lots to learn.. cheers.....p......paul420... If you're trying to burn a DVD USING Windows XP...you'll find it may not be possible. Windows XP can only copy files to CDs. However, you'll be able to copy the files you need to the DVD using a third-party program like, Nero. There are free ones on the market...all you have to do is a search at http://www.snapfiles.com and you may even find a freeware version. Thanks saviour i will have a look at that site, cheers......p..................Or try CDBurnerXPro...FREE !Quote from: patio on October 08, 2008, 07:58:42 AM Or try CDBurnerXPro...FREE ! patio...
