Solve : Dual System cannot find one of them?

Answer»

I have win 7 and 10 on one hard drive. at bootup time i get the option of PICKING one or the other. Recently i have had minor problems with Win 10 after the recent update. The other day as i booted up to win 10, i saw an option asking me if i need to repair it. So I thought, why not...it might straighten out my Cortana search problem...( it does not work ). well it really MESSED up my boot up options after that. I could only go to Win 10. Win 7 is no longer shown in my boot box. I want Win 7 back, more than want win 10...anyone have an idea of how i can get the computer to acknowledge win 7, EVEN at the cost of losing win 10?It seems windows update has recreated the Boot configuration Data file, loosing the windows 7 boot option.

If you have a look here it explains how to recreate this file as well as how to back up the file if this happens again.
