Answer» Whenever I try to download a link from a website that has .pdf or .zip I get the following message:
"The file is damaged or is not a valid DR Watson log file"
My OS is win 98SE.
This problem has been plaguing me for a few weeks now.
Some one please HELP me. Thanks :-/Try downloading the free VERSION of the WinZip file viewer.. Look on http://www.download.com , or do a Google search...
[glb]Flame[/glb]If you already have winzip & adobe reader on your computer you should check your file ASSOCIATIONS by right clicking on a downloaded .pdf & .zip file and choosing 'open with'.Thanks for your reply but as a novice I am really confused. Do I look in my Add/Delete window to find if I have winzip & adobe reader? I appreciate your time please have patience with me Thanks again.Yes, both those programs SHOW up in my 'add/remove programs' list so I guess they would show in yours if you have them installed.
