Solve : downloading pics?

Answer» I have a hp labtop and pc. Also a dell pc. I am downloading PICS from one and trying to load them onto one of the others. When I INSERT the CD there is no promt that opens to allow me to do this. Am I missing something very simple? Please someone help. Have not had sleep in a month. This things is making me nuts.
