Solve : Download Problems?

Answer» My computer is connected to the internet. I am able to do EVERYTHING but download anything...When I try to download anything (and that INCLUDES windows UPDATES/virus protection updates) it tells me that I am unable to download because I am not connected to the internet (even though I am) Any ideas I WOULD appreciate. And ALSO if you have ideas to please explain (I am not very computer literate) Thank you
