Solve : Does Everyone Get Mad At This Website??

Answer»

When doing a web SEARCH attempting to help a person
do you ever get mad at this pay me site showing up?

www.experts-exchange.com

Should they START a new one called-Wizards-trade? Not sure if this works after their recent site update. But any time you get a prompt to pay, in the past I was able to get around it by viewing the Google's Cache snapshot of the page.

But yes, pay support sites are no fun.
That website (rude-word-here) me off

I cant stand SEEING them in half the google results I sometimes get when researching computers.

Then, of course, you click "View Solution" and you get a big "Make an Account" page

rant rant rant, rant rant, (Charley BROWNS mothers voice)
Send them you're rant...i doubt it will yield results though.
One of the inherent faults of googles method of page ranking.
I sometimes start on page 2.Don't click the see solution link. Scroll down the page - way down.It does annoy me.
However, 2k's suggestion is valid - mostly.
If you scroll down a way, you can see various suggestions.
However, the real solution, the certified correct one, is one you must pay for.
There's nothing saying that the real solution isn't at the bottom with the rest though, so it's worth a look.
By the way, they recently changed the URL of the site . . . it used to be expertsexchange.com.
If that's too rude or whatever, I'll remove it (got to cover myself).
I found it funny anyway.LOL, I would have never thought of that. Yeah, I think everybody hates experts-exchange.com. Who would actually pay for help through that website? Those people on there, wasted their money.Scrolling down works and allows you to see the answer, if you join (free) you get to click on the 'see answer' button too.
Joining also gives you points which allow you to ask questions, after an initial allotment the points build up over time.
I find the whole site too convoluted, it's as if it was designed by ex-microsoft employees. It's free to join? I'm being asked for my credit card.

EDIT: http://www.experts-exchange.com/registerFree2.jsp?redirectURL=/&registrationSource=0Dilbert, based on your word psychology, you own a credit card?
Woah... (or did I mis-interpret your wording?)Let me rephrase: I am being asked for a credit card. The "I'm being asked for my credit card" is an idiosyncrasy of English; "I'm being asked to show my credit card. Too bad I don't have it." is an example. Quote

Ah
But now we are entering into the world of English LANGUAGE, word psychology, and grammer, which is completely and uterly pointless in a computer forum.
Breaker:
What do you call a cow that doesent give milk?
A bull?I think it's a monthly fee to join.
Speaking of the English language and so on, what happened to the word of the week topic?
It's languishing several pages back . . . Quote

Bump it with a new word...i'm sure street1 will be thrilled !
