I think starting a new forum is a very difficult thing, not setting it up but getting some momentum GOING. In the beginning, anyone who happens to see it notices that it has no siginificant activity and, THEREFORE, decides there's no point in posting anything. A Catch 22 situation, perhaps. You need some activity to GET a forum moving, but how do get some people to start using the forum when there's no activity. We don't go publicly now and just trying to shape the forum so that's why there are not many there. Yes you are right we are trying to get momentum at the time. On the other hand it's a little of specific forums (requires KNOWLEDGE of specific sciences) so you may not expect everyone come in and take on. But one of the rare ones with quite good experts there, like profs, DOCS etc. I am the moderator there The only one. exit. |
