Answer» Do.not.reply emails
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sometimes when dealing with corporations they will send a do.not.reply email when you do actually want to reply to the email sent.
Is there a workaround for this as I went to their website and their website response page is non functional. ==========================================================

Or just try sending an email to *any word*@lge.comContact email Addy
It was on the top of their Corporate web page...
99.99995% You will never recieve a reply from a do not reply email addy so i don't understand why you are spinning your wheels trying to do it this way anyways...Do not reply emails are do not reply emails for a reason. They are sent from bots who's programming usually can't handle incoming messages and will just ignore them, or worse.Quote from: Helpmeh on February 17, 2010, 06:58:18 AM They are sent from bots who's programming usually can't handle incoming messages and will just ignore them, or worse.
What would qualify as worse? They're not actually sent from bots. They're sent from a normal mail server.Quote from: rthompson80819 on February 17, 2010, 11:28:40 AMWhat would qualify as worse?
Delete them. The incoming emails SOMETIMES get checked by a real person every once and a while. Quote from: kpac on February 17, 2010, 12:21:34 PMThey're not actually sent from bots. They're sent from a normal mail server.
I meant to say sent BY bots. Quote from: Helpmeh on February 17, 2010, 02:05:55 PMDelete them. The incoming emails SOMETIMES get checked by a real person every once and a while.
Not from "no reply" addresses they don't
I meant to say sent BY bots.
Ahh. So robots send out corporate emails.
You know, sometimes when you say something silly it's best to just own up to it and move on.QuoteI meant to say sent BY bots. No, they're sent from the mail server as normal mail would be when, for instance, a user clicks a submit button. Sometimes the do-not-reply address does EXIST and works like a normal email account, i.e. can accept incoming mail. Usually though the mail server is configured to block all incoming mail. Also, sometimes emails to no-reply emails are re-routed to other emails. If you find yourself deep in a hole...stop digging...Hey, I'm the one using the track-machine to fill in Helpmeh's hole..... Exactly. BTDT Quote from: roy66Sometimes when dealing with corporations they will send a do.not.reply email when you do actually want to reply to the email sent.

As kpac touched on. Do not reply addresses are sent from a server. An automated server.
If it's a real corporation then get the contact info from their official website.QuoteAhh. So robots send out corporate emails. I always suspected some of the people at the corporate office were robots.
