my comuter just started to have really bad quality in displaying images. everything looks too dark, and it definitely is not my monitor settings, because on my dell plasma screen if i press the on monitor control menu, there is bright hues of red and blue and green, like it should be, then what im seeing on the computer is very dark. i tried just turning up all the colors, CONTRAST, brightness, and i just got grey instead of black. i was trying to watch a star wars 3 clip and all i could really make out was the lightsabers, i couldnt seet anything in detail, and those clips are the BEST ones on the net.

could it be the video card, just needs replacing?TYPE dxdiag in the run box.........also more info on sys....it maybe a upgrade of graphics controolers ///or drivers needed.what resoultiion......and refresh rate is it set  at......also how old is this plas.....screen......and do you have a emf.....devices next to it.......speakers/moblie/cellnet PHONE  etc..Question:

1. What type of VIDEOCARD do you have?
