I bought the XP upgrade after getting tired of ME. My problem is that my display scrambles into various striped colours. I have down loaded XP updates for my printer and monitor but I have not fixed the problem. Any ideas on how to fix this problem.

Phil.does it still have this problem if booted in to safe MODE hold down the f8 key on boot?? And type dxdiag in the run box..how much ram have you got....have you tried REINSTALLING graphics drivers from the winme DISK?I want you to do two THINGS..... First, go to your device manager, find your video card, right-click on it, and hit update drivers. (Make sure that you are connected to the internet when you do this) Second, perform a Windows Update by going to http://www.microsoft.com .... There MIGHT be some updates for your video card there... Keep us posted...
