Just finished updating my Systemax SYX Desktop from Win 7 Pro to Win 10. No problems (yet). I keep the Microsoft UPDATE set to advise me of all updates, but select and implement them MANUALLY. Win 10 took between 1 and 2 hours to LOAD and implement.

Yesterday I CHECKED my laptop, used mainly by my WIFE, and set for automatic Microsoft Updates. I found that it had tried to load Win 10 daily since July 27th, and it had FAILED every time. Then yesterday, I switched to manual MS updates, and tried to load Win 10 three times. It FAILED twice, and I quit the third time to go to bed. The laptop is about 18 months old, uses Win 7 Pro, has I3 processor, and is:

Any and all suggestions appreciated.How much free hard drive space is there?... I had a friend run into same issue and it was because he didn't have enough free space on his SSD in his laptop. He is not having to buy a bigger SSD for it.Also what were the results on the laptop from Win10 upgrade advisor ? ?
