Answer» I bought a used Dell 5160 laptop and it won't turn on. i bought it as a project and I'm a bit lost. the previous owner said it would turn on with a NEW ac adapter, so I bought a new one and it STILL won't turn on. I've tested the new adapter to MAKE sure it works and it's fine. Does ANYONE have any ideas? Thanks in advance. speedchaser43Personally, I'd try to get my money back. If you can't do that, then the next step would be to replace the battery.
