Once i've deletd files through the recycle bin is it deleted forever or is ther a way of getting them files back?? ??Data recovery programs can get them back if you haven't already copied over it. The way the recycle bin works is that when you empty it, Windows just deletes the refrence to the file, not the ACTUAL file.. quite successfully and because I don't have high hard disk usage have been able to restore files up to 2-years old (just for the experience) although, as others have stated, once a file or part of a file is overwritten the file or overwritten part cannot be recovered except with vastly expensive forensic software.
