Answer» Hi can you explain what a workstream is in the context of the sentence 'managing workstreams..' ?
Thanks in advance! Is this a homework assignment?
[glb]Flame[/glb]What is a workstream? No it is not hw.. It may be painfully obvious to everyone else but i need a precise undestanding that's why i am asking..
"Managing workstreams to include the development and management of plans and utilising control MECHANISMS"
Look obviously i have a rough undestanding.. but i need to do better than that..
If anyone tried googling workstreams you will know why i have posted it here..
Thanks to anyone who can shed some light on this!Management consulting technobabble.
technobabble
In information technology and other specialized areas, technobabble is the use of technical or "insider" terms that, to the uninitiated, have no meaning. Technobabble can be divided into (1) technical terms with some FORMAL standing in language such as new transmission or computer communication protocols, ESPECIALLY in their ABBREVIATED or acronym forms, (2) marketing terms in which terms with prior meaning are give new missions (for example, industrial strength), and (3) informal, colloquial, or JARGON terms (of which technobabble itself would seem to be an example).
