Solve : DDRAW.DLL?

This problem happens with my son
When he install a software This message appears :
this application has failed to start because DDRAW.DLL was not found re-install the application may fix the problem
I suggested to him. Download ddraw.dll from
 http://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/D/ddraw.dll/5.03.2600.2180/download.html
and put it at c:\windows\sytem32
Indeed I am not satisfied with the solution. Because the SOURCE is not known
Please advice. Thank youRun a malware scan as soon as possible.

What scans did you run ? ?
1 -Kaspersky Internet SECURITY 2011
2-SUPERAntiSpywareDLoad install and run Malwarebytes anti-malware...
Reboot after...Do these programs work with each other without conflict
Kaspersky Internet Security 2011  -- SUPERAntiSpyware---Malwarebytes yes...

as long as only 1 is running at any given time.  The problem is ended.
I work scanning by Malwarebytes  .There are some infected  files . and make update for Video drivers
