Solve : Dangerous Running Processes?

Answer»

My computer processing speed is very slow.  I am CONCERNED about the long list of processes that appear to be running on my computer according to task manager.  I would post the list, however, I am not GIVEN the copy command when I right click on the files.  I would greatly appreciate any help in researching dangerous files that MAY be on my computer.

Thank you!
CourtneyHow about scanning for virsuses and spywares.

This might decrease the list by a quarter. You can download & run Procexp from http://www.sysinternals.com and GOOGLE directly from within the program to get an idea what's going on.Thanks, I download the program, however, being the computer illiterate that I am, I am not sure about which files are not necessary to be running or potentially dangerous.

I have four svchost.exe files, two listed as Generic Host Processes.
I have three iexpore.exe files, even though I only have one ie browser open.

Here are some other unknown files running:

alg.exe
wdfmgr.exe
tponscr.exe
tphkmgr.exe
procexp.exe
Try Ewido http://www.ewido.net/en/but if you want to go the full 9 yards....

Download, install & update...
CWShredder
