Solve : Crash/reboot cycle- need elp?

Answer»

Hello,

have a problem that needs fixing asap. Have an IBM Penitum III Netvista COMPUTER running Windows XP. Was working fine for about three months now. Tonight I do some web surfing and for no reason the computer crashes. It shows one of those blue text screens but I can't get functionality from either my keyboard or mouse. I also can't reset by depressing my power button. I had no choice but to unplug it.
Once replugged, I fired up the system. It goes to the windows xp boot screen then resets the boot. I have tried to boot up up in safe mode,  network safe mode, command prompt, last known config, and normal. It doesn't change anything. It KEEPS rebooting.
I don't have a diskette in either the 1.44 floppy or the DVD Drive and the bios seems fine.
Any things I can try?   Please, Please, help!

Rick:

Please write down every WORD that appears in the Blue Screen of Death and leave a reply here to let us know what it says (ESPECIALLY any numbers and letters following the word "STOP" or following the letters "VxD").
